The Drop Off

Alongside a small team of talented young filmmakers and actors, The Drop Off is one of three short films created for our final Claude Watson Film Festival, which premiered at the Hot Docs Cinema in Toronto.
The poster design was made to reflect the darker themes of this rom-com. The shape of Mara’s top half of the poster is inspired by the stereotypical shape of a grave marker, a nod to her early on-screen death. The bottom half features Omar, our film’s personification of ‘Death’.
The film was an amazing final experience for me - nothing can match the feeling of working with your peers from script to screen.
